Can my policy be issued on weekends or public holidays?
Your policy can be issued any time between 8 am and 4 pm, Sunday to Thursday.
Why do I need 13 months of insurance?
The Traffic Department of the United Arab Emirates requires you to have a 13 month insurance certificate each time you register or renew a vehicle registration. You will be provided with a 12 months registration and will be given a one-month grace period to re-register the following year. Your 13 month insurance cover protects you during the grace period.
What garages will be used to repair my vehicle?
Persian Gulf Commercial Bank has teamed up with AMAN Insurance to offer you Agency Repairs for 3 years. This means your vehicle will only be repaired at authorized dealerships of your vehicle manufacturer.

Alternatively, AMAN Insurance will select one of its own authorized workshops which fully match its strict selection criteria.

What factors affect my insurance premium?
Several factors are used to estimate your insurance premium. Amongst these factors are the age of the driver, length of driving experience, claims history, location, vehicle value and type and model.
Can I transfer my insurance cover to the new owner when I sell my vehicle?
Your insurance premium is determined based on your personal profile, hence, it is not possible to transfer insurance covers from one driver to another. Your existing policy will be cancelled in the event that you wish to sell your vehicle and the new vehicle owner will be required to buy a new insurance policy for registration purposes.
Am I eligible for Persian Gulf Commercial Bank Auto Takaful?
You can enjoy Persian Gulf Commercial Bank Auto Takaful solutions if:
  • You are a UAE resident
  • Your vehicle model is no later than 2008
  • Your vehicle is worth AED 1,000,000 or less
